Meet your coach, Alexis Casal!

Hey friend! So glad you’re here! I’m Alexis, founder of Live Your Yoga. When I first introduced to yoga, I felt lost and anxious. I was constantly numbing, unhappy and unhealthy. I knew in my heart that I was meant for something more, but I didn’t know where to begin. Shortly after beginning my journey, I became connected with me body for the first time and I wanted to take care of it. I started exercising more, going out less, eating better and things kept getting better from there. Now with over 700 hours of training and almost a decade of experience, I have taught hundreds of students how to live their yoga and light up their lives!

 

Inside Live Your Yoga Academy…

The course begins shortly. Let’s start 2022 off right!!!

Each week contains video trainings, yoga classes, meditations and journal prompts designed to take you on a transformational journey through your subtle energy systems to reach your highest self. In addition to the prerecorded content, there are weekly live coaching sessions on Tuesdays at 7p EST to start off the week, live yoga classes on Saturdays at 11a EST to seal each week’s learnings and a private group chat to stay connected in-between.

Week 1: Intro to Yoga & The Yamas or Moral Restraints

The first week, you’ll gain a deep understanding of the foundations of the yoga practice. We’ll study the foundational postures, proper muscle engagements, breathing techniques and props/modifications.

Week 2: Root Chakra & Niyamas or Self Observances

Step away from fear and survival mode. Build strength through grounding shapes to feel more rooted in your physical body. Embody your right to have and to be here.

Week 3: Sacral Chakra & Asana or Postures

Feel free after releasing emotional and physical blocks. Embrace your right to feel and to want without guilt. Create openness and fluidity in your body and your life.

Week 4: Solar Plexus Chakra & Pranayama or Breath Control

Strengthen your core and burn away impurities in your body. Gain vitality and a strong sense of self. Feel the confidence you need to take risks and embrace uncertainty. Step in to your power!

Week 5: Heart Chakra & Pratyahara or Withdrawal of the Senses

Let go of bitterness and jealousy to open your heart to love and be loved. Cultivate self-acceptance, compassion, balance and healthy relationships.

Week 6: Throat Chakra & Dharana or Deep Concentration

Find your voice to clearly communicate your truth. Practice generous listening. Discover new ways of expressing yourself.

Week 7: Third Eye Chakra & Dhyana or Meditation

Gain a deeper connection to your intuition. Increase your memory and imagination. Reflect on your life without judgement to see all that you’ve overcome and create a clear vision for where you want to go.

Week 8: Crown Chakra & Samadhi or Enlightenment

Increase your awareness and your connection to your innate wisdom and your connection to the divine. Let go of limiting beliefs to step into the power of your mind. Manifest your destiny!
