Spiritual Growth has always greeted me with confusion, excitement, sometimes fear and much wonder. I was talking with one of my dear friends and teachers John Tamayo the other morning concerning some challenges I have been facing.  His statement was beautiful: “people sometimes assume that spiritual people always saying yes to everything and are always smiling.  But this is not true.”  This statement was encouraging, and real.
